Effect Number Of Washing Cycles On The Appearance Of The Stitching Joints Of The Jeans Fabrics

The research is aiming at:

Defining some physical and mechanical factors the subject of the study.
Defining the effect of repeated washing processes on the appearance of the stitching joints, employed in the different weights jeans clothing.
Reaching the best weights for preserving the appearance of the stitching joints, with several washing processes

The research adopted the descriptive applied methodology. The research sample comprised jeans fabrics of different weights and some stitching joints were carried out (the normal stitching- the French stitching- the English stitching- the Overlock (five threads) stitching). The stitching processes were carried out on a sample group of different weights. Washing processes were carried out on them and the appearance of the stitching joints appearance was evaluated after each of the washing cycles 1,5,15 and 30 washing cycles. The research instrument comprised the evaluation form of the carried out samples to answer the research problems.
The research results revealed the following:

Defining some physical characteristics of the fabrics, such as (square meter weight- firmness in the directions of warp and weft threads directions- tension force in the directions of the warp and weft threads).
The appearance of the stitching joints after the different washing cycles:

After the thirtieth washing cycle, the results revealed the preservation of the stitching joints of the different weights jeans fabrics, by accepted percents, but to realize the stitching best appearance, through the repetition of the washing cycles, the following is preferred:

It is possible to utilize the jeans fabrics of the three different weights in the normal stitching, due to the closeness of their appearance percents to each other.
Using the light and medium weight jeans fabrics in the French stitching and avoiding the heavy weights.
Utilizing the medium weight jeans fabrics in the English stitching. 
Utilizing the medium weight jeans fabrics in the Overlock stitching (five threads).

تأثير عدد دورات الغسيل على مظهرية وصلات الحياکة لأقمشة الجينز
يهدف البحث إلى :                                                                                                       
1- التعرف على بعض الخواص الطبيعية والميکانيکية للأقمشة محل الدراسة .
2- التعرف على أثر عمليات الغسيل المتکرر على مظهرية وصلات الحياکة المستخدمة فى ملابس الجينز بأوزان مختلفة .
3- الوصول إلى أفضل الأوزان احتفاظا بمظهرية وصلات الحياکة مع تعدد عمليات الغسيل .
ويعتمد البحث على المنهج الوصفى التطبيقى ، تکونت عينة البحث من مجموعة من الأوزان المختلفة لأقمشة الجينز وتم تنفيذ بعض وصلات الحياکة (الحياکة العادية - الحياکة الفرنسية – الحياکة الإنجليزية – الأوفرلوک 5 فتلة) على مجموعة من العينات المختلفة الأوزان وإجراء عمليات غسيل عليها وتقييم مظهرية الوصلات بعد کل من الغسلة (30 ، 15 ، 5 ، 1) وکانت أداة البحث عبارة عن استمارة تقييم للعينات المنفذة وذلک للإجابة على تساؤلات البحث .
وأسفرت النتائج عن:
1- تحديد بعض الخواص الطبيعية للأقمشة محل الدراسة (وزن المتر المربع ، الصلابة فى اتجاه السداء واللحمة ، قوة الشد فى اتجاه السداء واللحمة ، الأستطالة فى اتجاه السداء واللحمة) .
2- مظهرية وصلات الحياکة بعد دورات الغسيل المختلفة :                                                                   
- عند الغسلة الثلاثون أسفرت النتائج عن احتفاظ وصلات الحياکة فى أقمشة الجينز مختلفة الأوزان
   بنسب مظهرية مقبولة .
3- تحديد أفضل الأوزان احتفاظا بمظهرية مع تکرار عملية الغسيل بالنسبة لوصلات الحياکة المختلفة.
   - فى الحياکة العادية يمکن أستخدام الأوزان الثلاثة لتقارب نسب المظهرية لهم .
   - فى الحياکة الفرنسية استخدام أقمشة الجينز ذات الوزن الخفيف والمتوسط وتجنب استخدام الأوزان
      الثقيلة .
   - فى الحياکة الأنجليزية أستخدام أقمشة الجينز متوسطة الوزن .
