     المانيکان هو أسلوب لعمل الباترون ولکن يتم التعامل مع الأبعاد الهندسية الثلاثة للأشکال المجسمة مباشرة (المانيکان أو الجسم البشـري) لإنتاج باترون معين أو لعمل التصميم مباشرة عليه .
    ويعتبر أحد أساليب تصميم وتنفيذ الملابس بل من أرقاها لما يتطلبه من موهبة وخبرة عالية ، کما يعتمد على الفرد وقدرته على الابتکار والتخيل ، والقدرة على تطويع القماش لإنتاج تصميمات تؤدي وظيفتاها النفعية والجمالية .
أهداف البحث :
1-    مساعدة المبتدئات على عمل الدرايبهات وتسهيل عملها وضبط أحجامها .
2-    إعطاء تأثيرات جمالية مختلفة باستخدام شرائط الورب لتشکيل الدرابيهات المتداخلة على المانيکان .
3-    الکشف عن أهم السمات الفنية والابتکارية التي تتميز بها شرائط الورب .
4-    ابتکار وتنفيذ درابيهات متداخلة بشـرئط الورب مصممة لملابس السهرة .
أهمية البحث :
1-    تشجيع المبتدئات في تنفيذ وتشکيل تصميمات الدرابيهات المتداخلة بشرائط الورب على المانيکان .
2-    الوصول إلى حلول ابتکارية عديدة في تشکيل الدرابيهات المتداخلة .

     وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية بين التصميمات السبعة في إتقان الدرابية في التصميم وفقا لأراء المتخصصين .
الفرض الرابع: 
     وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية بين التصميمات السبعة في توظيف شرائط الورب في الدرابية وفقا لأراء المتخصصين .
وأوصت الدراسة بــ :
1-    اعتماد التشکيل بشرائط الورب على المانيکان في المناهج الدراسية وتکثيف التدريب عليها ، لأنها تتطلب قدراً عالي من الإتقان.
2-    ضرورة توفير آلات خاصة بقص شرائط الورب بمقاسات مختلفة توفيراً للوقت والجهد وسرعة الإنجاز.
3-    توفير مانيکانات عالية الدقة والثبات حتى تتمکن الطالبة من التشکيل بطريقة سليمة وسريعة .
4-    توجيه المهتمات لهذا المجال إلى دراسة الفرق بين تشکيل الدرابيهات المتداخلة بالقماش وتشکيلها بشرائط الورب.
